I don't think people at the top even consider customer retention or
return. They are especially bad in areas where they have a monopoly,
which was my ACE in contacting representatives. Their telephone agents
are usually excellent but the paper communication and the new technology
they push is usually ill planned. For example, they changed channel
numbers in January; it just has been in the last 10 days that the new
channel numbers were reflected on their on-line guide. A couple of weeks
ago, there was especially poor programing on all stations, both network
and cable, on evening. Suddenly, the entire system went down, cable and
DSL, because so many people were requesting "On Demand." Again, they
pushed the service, I even have some free coupons, without making sure
they had capacity.

Hard to decide some times if Comcast is inherently evil or just acts 
that way.
