Bonnie,
	Take it easy..... slowly does it coming back... need to take good
care of yourself. It is going to take some time to get your strength back...
6 months to a year. Took me about a year after chemo and radiation. The
gardening spirit was indeed willing, but the old bod was not ready.
Everything exhausted me in spite of wanting and trying.

Yes, chemo is over. I seemed to have been on the edge of everything;
allergic to the toxol; in the 2 1/2% where AC kills the cancer and you;
had to have two units of blood and a reduced treatment (3/4 of AC).
White cells were up on Thursday so I have been able to slowly get out to
my gardens. Planted tomatoes in straw together with basil and some sweet
onions. I have five fairly large beds; three in good shape. One of the
others is infested with moles so the dogs keep digging things up. We are
going to dig out the soil and lay chicken wire on the base, then cover
with new soil for a summer veggie bed. The fifth bed is going to rest
for fall crops.

Our crazy spring weather resulted in everything blooming at once. Pollen
count for this area is 400-500 as high; we had 1315! Big storm went
through last night, 1.32" of rain with high winds, so I'm hoping that
helped the pollen count. I had weeded before my surgery in late January
but the winter weeds grew strong and tall, taking advantage of my
incapacitation. I'm thinking of getting one of those weed torches for
certain areas and let them scream.

I'm going at this rather slowly because I'm still rather fatigued and
have developed lymphedema. Both docs (surgeon and oncologist) want me to
try to get it under control before radiation since that treatment makes
it worse. So, there's therapy coming up.

I've attached one of my head paintings and my flower pot hat. No wigs for
me.
