Bonnie, glad the colchicum arrived ok.  Don't worry, just try to get them
down by Labor Day.  Scaevola (Fan Flower) is from Australia. Likes
well-drained soil and, as I think Marge mentioned, less phosphorous.  I have
the new S. 'Zig Zag' that has done extremely well. Sorry yours didn't make
it, but try again next year.
