Re: Furry dogs/acclimation

I can vouch for all of that cat behavior. Never seen a cat quite like Sugar. When she wants to be brushed...she'll meow. When mom doesn't pay enough attention...then she swats the brush off the coffee table at Pam's feet and gives her that "I mean business" look. Or stomps her paw....same thing. And she fully expects to be petted while she is eating. She'll walk over to her bowl...look at her mom with that look that says, "I'M EATING NOW....GET OVER HERE THIS INSTANT". It is SO funny. When I send Pam presents...I always include Sugar too...she know how to open her gifts.

Sugar hates the cold as much as mama does. In the cooler weather, she
lays I mean right in front of the gas heater (like a small fireplace) in
the living room at my feet. It's a miracle she doesn't fry. And if
there's even a hint of a chill in the house, she'll go sit in front the
heater, look at me, look at the long fireplace lighter and look back at
me like "hey stupid, what does a cat have to do to get some HEAT around
here?" If ignored at this point, usually because I'm laughing my head
off, she'll come head butt my leg until I get up and light it. It's
hysterical now....
