I heard a snipet about the shark attack on a news commercial - didn't think
much about it.  The next day or maybe 2 later there was a small article in
the newspaper, bottom, inside page.  Again, nothing I would normally have
read.  But for some reason my eyes passed over the name Franzman.  I wrote
David asking if he were related, and unfortunately, yes.

Part of me wanted to share this right away, but something like this is
obviously so personal that I did not want to infringe on his grief if he did
not want to deal with condolences yet.  That's why I waited for him to say
it was ok.  Maybe that doesn't make sense.  I don't know.  I just know that
we all feel very badly for him and we all wish we could do something.
