Andrea,
I recently bought a chimney pot imported from England. See:
http://www.hardyhems.com/chimney_pots.htm
I have no idea where I want to put it! I have a fountain sitting on my deck
that really should be in the garden, but I don't have electricity anywhere
except close to the house. I am enjoying listening to the fountain, so it
will stay put for the summer I guess. Most of the ornamentation in my
garden is simple such as a copper bird house, a bird bath, or a wooden
obelisk. I do have a very tall metal obelisk with a globe at the top. I
also have a metal windmill in the vegetable garden.
I have a "problem" birdfeeder. It's a large copper dish that you hang.
It's from Smith and Hawken. The design is poor as it would fill up with
water when it rains. I thought about drilling holes in it, but it would be
a yucky mess if I put seed in it! Today I thought that maybe I could put
pin holes in it and let it fill with rain and be a kind of dripping
sculpture. Anybody have an idea for a creative use for this gift from my
husband?
