Ceres,
They say Zone 7 for me. I just replanted Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'
again this year. Don't know why this variety is less hardy for me.
On another note- I couldn't resist a baby rat I saw in the pet store
yesterday! She looked like my Neela that died this past winter. She's a
silver hooded rat and very tiny right now. She lives in my home office and
keeps me company- along with the rest of the menagerie! She exploring my
shoulder as I type! The cats are occupied elsewhere so my keyboard is safe.
My mouse cord is wrapped in electrical tape from where Neela chewed on it
when I was distracted.

Chris, as you are zone 7, I would think Lysimachia would do well for you.
Perhaps not enough moisture?
The Ajuga I think is Silver Beauty.
