Thanks, Donna & all for taking a look for me. The closest I could find was
Hyalophora cecropia or Robin Moth larvae. I think the greens are a bit
different, but other than that, it looks like a match. I was truly
intrigued by the unique physique and colors of this larva. I think it looks
a bit alien myself.
And Jim, though I could have gone to the craft store to come up with
something that wild, I just haven't had time as of late and nature still
does a far better job than I could ever do. LOL!
