Re: Freecycle/ was Collecting/ number of plants??


You can always start one closer by. I belong to 3 of them, as do many of the
other members. Was going to start one in my county, but someone beat me to
it.

As for being around - a lot of folks here just leave stuff in the driveway
or on the front porch for pickup. Wouldn't work for everything, of course,
but
it saves trying to schedule.

I'm with you on not being able to throw away perfectly good stuff. I used to
take a lot to Goodwill until the paper did a story on the local goodwill
throwing out perfectly good, boxed sets of dishes, practically new
furniture, brand-new-with-tags clothes and such. Made me mad! I'd rather
have it go to someone who will use it.
