Ooh, that makes me so jealous. Caribbean red is my absolute favorite papaya! I just ate a huge one that was grown in Belize.

Just happens, Ceres. Every so often we end up with four or five pineapples or papayas or two or three hands of bananas sitting on the kitchen table--all ripening to the same drummer. Right now it's pineapples; before summer's over, it will be papayas--believe me, Ms. Fatma's Caribbean red is going to produce a dozen football sized fruits, which will all ripen in October, if not sooner.
