I'm glad you're able to help out. I think every one of us will need to be
involved.

FWIW, if anyone wants to contribute to flood relief, or other causes,  one
of the charities I give to is "Americares" www.americares.org  as it spends
so little on advertising. 1% as opposed to 3% for the Red Cross, and
astronomical amounts for some other organizations.
Charity Navigator http://www.charitynavigator.org/  and www.give.org  have
lists and comparison charts.

Do you have long gas lines in your area? I was surprised to see people
lining up at the gas stations when I went to run errands this afternoon.
Since 9/11 I've been trying to drive on the top half tank of gas. I'm glad
now. I remember what it was like in the 70's.
