Actually, I do recall seeing the word b4 asking that qstn, but I thought he wrote, "I picked a few of them for the annual family Christmas"
I didn't miss the word, I just missed the L.

Well, I don't like hot peppers, but i know someone who does. do they really
take until Christmas to ripen? They'll freeze first!

Hi Kitty, Last year I let my thieving neighbors steal them. People like
that need to be helped as much as possible. LOL but they are quite hot
and
quite good. I pickled a few of them for the annual family Christmas
get-together, they were quite a hit.

Speaking of peppers, this is the first time I've grown any - It's the
ornamental AAS winner, Black Pearl. Mine haven't branched much but have
clusters of plack pearl peppers at the tops. "As the plant matures, the
black peppers turn red, adding a new color to the plant. While edible, the
peppers are very hot. Use with care!" Has anyone ever grown this? What
do
you do with the peppers?

Or, could they have cross-pollinated with peppers that are hotter? Pepper specialist, anyone?[Original Message]

I have heard that if peppers don't get enough water they will be hotter.
Iwonder if that could be the case for you? Tricia ----- Original Message ----- From: <Cornergar@aol.com> To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Friday, August 04, 2006 8:43 AM Subject: Re: [CHAT] Drought... > Cathy,I thought you were one of the lucky ones that got some of therain> that
