It's called 'phishing.' Some criminal is trying to get financial information from you. I'm hoping you did not click on any of the links provided. If you still have the e-mail forward it to spoof@ebay.com. They'll take care of it.

I just received notification that my E-bay account had been suspended
because of abuse of privileges.  This is strange to me because I have
NEVER had an E-bay account, or even visited the site.  Any ideas as
to why this happened?
