Re: new day new problem... low grow sumac

Kitty- I had that sumac and ripped it out! Talk about a tree bent on
world take over.... Tiger eyes was supposed to be more behaved that the
native type.... not in my yard!

Ceres- the one that died is this:

http://www.coopext.colostate.edu/4DMG/Trees/Shrubs/grow.htm

Rhus aromatica 'Gro-low'

I was looking at it again this morning.... can't decide if I should rip
it out or what. The branches still have what appears to be life, but the
most of the leaves are history....sigh.

It was just the perfect plant for that place... have no idea what to
replace it with. It is next to my waterfall side, so the branches had a
nice effect along the rocks to soften them. Fall color was great
addition, as that area doesn't have many fall things. It also stayed
short enough that it didn't drown out other things growing higher up in
the waterfall side section.

Maybe I should take a picture.....
