Yes, same fair. Needlework is just about all types except sewing and quilting. Includes knit, crochet, felting, tatting, embroidery (of all sorts, counted cross stitch attracts the most entries), weaving, spinning, applique, machine stitched embroidery or applique, plastic canvas. One thing we don't have is lace, just no entries except for crochet edging or knitted lace. There is a local club of lacemakers, but they tend to enter a neighbring county's fair.
I am no expert, volunteered years ago for the opportunity to see how things are judged, to improve my own work. However, I seldom enter any needlework now. I keep trying to resign and volunteer in flowers instead (same motivation). No one else will take the job, so they keep asking me to do it. And I keep saying yes.
