The grey-foliage plant you called worm wort is
surely the old Artemisia 'Silver King.'  This is a 
very old standard - mine came from Anna Warner's
garden on Constitution Island.  The docents there
place 18" stems of it in bushel baskets to dry in
curved shapes which they then use in dried 
arrangements.
