Glad to hear she doesn't have any horrifying injuries.... but 'just brused' can be painful.... 
You are incharge of breakfast tomorrow when she is sore and achy.
So did they total the car?

After 4 hours, I went back and pried her out. She was pronounced 
bruised but unbowed, and after another 30 minutes filling out papers, 
they released her. Then we spent another hour at the body shop filling 
out more papers and conversing with her insurance company on the phone.
