Re: Defugalty

I was more concerned about the newer side airbags turning my head for me. But the force of an airbag straight on could also do damage. And what if my head were turned when a front airbag went off?

I doubt you would get the chance to turn your head... it will flatten you against the back of the seat.

Although I made the mistake of trying to raise my arm/hand to block it-- ended up breaking it...in 3 places.

Air bags definitely can be lifesavers, but they do scare me. I have bad
disks in my neck that don't bother me for the most part. I asked the dr
what things I should avoid so I don't make matters worse. He said just not
to turn my head too quickly. With airbags I don't think I'd have much
choice in the matter and might end up paralyzed.
