RE: always something
Donna, we had the rains here, too. The bulldogs are not happy about going
out in the rain. Light, quiet rain is O.K., but forget trying to get them
to go out with thunder or lightening! I finally got Miss Susan to go out
and she went just outside the garage on the driveway to pee. UGH!!! A
number of places flooded down here, too.
Last night, DH and I went to the pre-season Bengals/Packer game to see the
Packers destroyed. UGH. Not fun for a couple of Packer fans. However, a
home town young man, A.J. Hawks from Centerville who graduated from Ohio
State last year did very well with only a couple of missed tackles and in on
a good number of tackles. (One has to look for bright spots where one can.)
It rained nearly the entire game and the stadium is not covered in
Cincinnati. It was so very hot (upper 80's) everyone was loath to put on
rain coats, so you can imagine how we all looked 3 quarters into the game.
Of such is life.
We were supposed to have dry days the rest of the week, but now with Ernesto
scheduled to come the way it is, they are now predicting rain each day. I
would really rather share the abundance.
Blessings,
Bonnie (SW OH - zone 5)

Pam I don't think you should read this..... besides, if I could, I would
send it down to you!
it has rained here most of the day-- not big storms, just steady rain.
The street outside is flooded to the point of over the curb and up the step
into my office.... not alot, but everytime a car attempts to drive down the
street (and this is a busy street- main drag)- the 'wave' sends water into
the building...
sigh.
How much longer is this going to last?
Donna
