Thankyou, it was a good day.
Went out to lunch & a movie with Ed, and had an otherwise lazy day staying in out of the heat. No gifts, but I'm planning to get a new car this year, (as soon as the dealership gets a Prius I like and meets our price) so it's all good. I still have daylillies in bloom & some of my hostas are set to bloom despite 100+ temperatures here. Thank goodness it's drier. We had some humid 90+ days a couple of weeks ago that were awful. Some of my plants are showing a little strees, but so far no water rationing , which helps.
