I do, in fact, have someone in mind for the project. The couple who own a
local bed and breakfast.. he is a handyman. Intend to call and talk with
him. I have several photos taken of the existing gate/arch taken from
different angles. And will make a drawing including my touches to the
design. 
	We shall see...

Ask around.  With so many in construction out of work you might find a good
woodworker who would be glad to make it for less.  I found a good one in my
area just by word of mouth.
