Where did you live in NJ? I'm not Italian but I remember my Uncle talking about his dad making wine. Since my Uncle was the youngest (and smallest) it was his job to crawl into the empty wine casks to scrub them out. He said he got high just breathing the air in there! I still remember visiting his mom's house as a little girl -- best pasta I ever tasted. (They were from New Brunswick.)

Yes, I did drink some on the sly. I got "sick". This was done for all the
major holidays. It was gr888. Oh, I forgot, meatballs too!!!!
