Re: tradition/Italian produce

Speaking of produce from Italy. Two heirloom peppers, Quadrato Asti Giallo (doesn't the name just sing) and Jimmy Nardello's did better in our summer heat than any of the fancy hybrids ever have. They kept fruiting and producing all summer long, apparently evolving in the warm climate of Italy makes them well suited for the South. They're available as seeds or transplant from Seed Saver's Exchange. We liked them so well, we're getting twice as many next year so Pat can grow them too! These are sweet peppers BTW.
Viva Italia!!
