I just used a mixure of potting soil and course sand, dipped the tips I
snipped off of the mother plant, and stuck them in a pot. Tried to keep
them watered regularly at first- less so as it became obvious they had roots
(since the others had croaked and these hadn't). I guess, just lucky. I
definitely think doing this outside is a better idea than inside.
