RE: A Politically Correct Christmas

Thank you from Santa Bill and me! While we strive to be sensitive to the
needs of different children, groups, etc., we are NOT politically correct to
the point of absurdness. Most little girls still wanted dolls and most
little boys still wanted construction equipment, army/military toys, games
for their game players, etc. And while I am sensitive to everyone's ethnic
backgrounds, creeds, etc., Christmas is still a Christian holiday and Saint
Nicholas (Santa Claus) was a priest sainted by the Roman Catholic Church, so
to ignore that connection is a bit more than I care to do.

Santa Bill and I had a good time with the children this season and they
don't seem to care on jot about political correctness! Children are
children and they just need love and acceptance to grow, just as our gardens
need light, compost and water.

(I do own a politically correct book of fairy tales. It is hilarious to
read because it is so stilted and absurd.)

I think everything should be done in moderation. Too much of even a good
thing in NOT good.

Blessings

Bonnie

An amusing poem about Santa's difficulties selecting
'politically correct' gifts...
