RE: RE: sod< leaves, now birds


we get lots of cardinals around here, too, at this time of year. our state bird is the brush jay; very pretty. but we have no shortage of mocking birds, either. they are really great during mating season with their acrobatics and song repertoire.

went to an oyster bar for dinner the other evening. we were sitting by a window the overlooks the myakka river and the outside of the glass was a white heron overlooking our dinner. it sat there and watched us the whole time.
