RE: Rain gauge

The one I have is plastic with LARGE numeric characters. It is a little
over 5" tall and about an inch in diameter. That large a collector prevents
the occasional odd circumstance to skew the measurement. If you get a wet
year, the rain gauge could be severely tested. During the small flood in
the spring of this year, my rain gauge actually ran over. My rain gauge was
a cheapie I bought at Mazels. I don't have a brand name, but I sure
wouldn't want one shorter than 5", though I imagine a much smaller one would
suffice for Pam.

Blessings,
Bonnie

Anyone have a favorite rain gauge they would recommend?
