How true that is Bonnie - more's the pity. I have a 7" tall plastic
squarish, slightly wedge shaped contruction and a smaller 4-5"
cylindrical glass gauge that sits in a base of a sculpture of birdies.
Both were gifts so who knows where they came from.
Between the two, I can keep fairly accurate records.
I would advise having more than one and taking the average of your readings.
