Thanks, Bonnie.  Mentally, I am, too, but it's awful hard to stop a
family tradition that's been going on for nearly 30 years.   I get
less enthusiastic about doing it, but haven't gotten to the place
where I would feel comfortable stopping, if you know what I mean. 
Have happily given up cooking Thanksgiving if I can manage to palm it
off elsewhere, but Christmas is a whole 'nother thing:-)

I have just about made the grade.  House is decorated and relatively
clean and neat; tree is up and decorated; all gifts that are here
(some orders to come) are wrapped.  Just got to get guest room in
order and grocery shop and cook - oh, and make a stab at getting a
few Xmas cards out before the New year:-)  On track, more or less, at
the moment.

Christmas Day is my day of rest.   Am lookin' forward to it no end!
