Perhaps, in all fairness, the ones bidding are simply not as
knowledgeable as you. You take your extensive gardening and garden-related
shopping for granted. you have quite a few years experience and focused
activity... does not sound like the bidders do. There is also that element
of a bidding war that someone has let themselves be sucked into and can not
let go.....
Meanwhile... ho ho ho to all..
