Dear All, 

I buy the bulbs sold for forcing. No dark or cold period are needed.
Just provide water in a bulb vase, a flower pot (without a drain) or
decorative container filled halfway with pebbles.  Sit the bulbs on the
pebbles and pour some more around the bulbs if they need support. Then,
fill with water up to where the bulb touches the pebbles.
