RE: old country lanquages/now Fels Naptha soap
Yep- I never saw Fels Naptha used as laundry soap, but there always was a
bar at home to wash up after hiking or playing in the woods around the house
I grew up in. We also had a bar in the car trunk for camping/fishing. I
have never gotten poison ivy in my life, despite traipsing through it many
many times. The Fels Naptha is a bit harsh on the skin, but way better than
poison ivy.

I'd forgotten about the poison ivy treatment. Guess I need to go find a bar.
We used to have a great little grocery store that had all of the old stuff,
including Fels Naptha and plain old Washing Soda.
