That is true... but it would probably be just me that it poked as I tried to get to the outside faucet.
I did plant some barberry under one bedroom window with that in mind. Thankfully we live in a small rural area, 12 houses around a pond on a dead end street. I am the last house so I always hope that a burglar would not come here because he would have only one way in and one way out.
