Brr. Sugar still likes to go out (on her tether) but it's for much
shorter stints when it's this cold. In and out every 5 or 10 minutes all
day when I'm home. I get worn out just playing "cat doorman". It's never
been 0 here, not sure if she'd brave that or not. She will do the 20's
though. Shimmy is brave.

No.  It is the same temp as outdoors, but the storm windows cut the wind.

However, when the sun comes around a bit later in the day it does warm up a

bit.  This is an old, drafty, uninsulated, plain aluminum structure over

cement floor.  Cold as outdoors, Seamus will still want to go outside at

night at 0F and eventually sets up camp in his grill-bed in the florida

room.  It is lined with waterheater insulation and baby blankets.  I have

Purr-pads on the chairs and the other cats wil nestle on those for warmth,

but they all hate being cooped up too long in the house, especially Shimmy.
