This is a tiny town, but we're right on the main drag. Tether keeps her
out of the street. Besides, the exercise won't hurt me a bit ;-)

I can't be bothered with all that in and out stuff. You put the tether
on "every 5 or 10 minutes all day "? My family room has the standard
sliding glass doors that open to the florida room. They sell special
inserts for these doors that leave enough space at the bottom for the
cat to pass through. Some even have a cat door in the insert that can be
locked. However, I made my own from inexpensive blue insulation board. I
don't lose much heat from that since heat rises.
