Remember the scarab beetle we discussed a few months ago?  Well I just  got 
some interesting information regarding it from our extension agent, Bill  Wyatt
.  It follows:
 
Bill,
This beetle, Euphoria sepulchralis (Fabricius) is in the  family
Scarabaeidae.  "The adults may be found on flowers and feign  death when
touched."  Beetles in this genus are often called bumble  flower beetles
because of their color, pubescence and they act like  bumblebees.  This one
does not have a common name but a closely related  species is called the
bumblebee flower beetle or brown fruit  chafer.
