It's actually not easier, it is LESS stressful to tell the truth than to
lie. They've done medical studies w/ CAT scans and stuff. So I will
never understand it. Unfortunately, those of us who are truthful and
straightforward don't posses the subterfuge gene, and don't recognize
the trait that we do not possess. Therefore it takes us a while to
figure out this stuff. Which kind of sucks. But I would still rather be
honest than sleazy any day. And I know you would too. And you are doing
just fine lady, keep on keepin' on!!

Thanks y'all, it's been the one gratifying thing in my life at the moment.
The rest of it sucks. Sorry to sound so pitiful. Just found out my
ex-boyfriend cheated, lied, etc. And my friends knew about it and kept it
from me to 'save my feelings." They got a tongue lashing on that one. All
are very apologetic and said yes, the truth is better. Then I called him and
told him what a vile creature he is. I REALLY lost my temper, which is rare
for me. Our conversation ended when he said he was very sorry and I said
"Yes, you are." and hung up. there are reasons why he's now my ex besides
this one. Sorry to broadcast this on the list. I can't believe I'm doing
this. I just am really feeling weird tonight. Why do people have to be so
deceitful? that's a rhetorical question, I know why, because it's easier.
