I used to feel cheated when I was younger, but now that I have way too much 'stuff' the fact that anyone notices is enough for me. I did have a great day -- with lots of cards, phone calls and e-mails.

Happy Birthday, Zem.  Do you always feel cheated, as one of my
goddaughters says she does, by having a birthday so close to
Christmas?   She laughs about people giving her a pair of socks
for a birthday/Christmas gift.
