RE: Back to Chat

Boy does that bring back the memories. My sisters and I were all pre-teen
when we would each get a quarter to go to the movies on saturday afternoon.
Admission was 12 cents (a dime to get in and 2 cents luxury tax) we would
get to see a newsreel, previews, a short subject (Buster Keaton or the 3
Stooges or something like that) a cartoon, the feature , and a B western
(Roy Rogers, Gene Autrey, Lone Ranger, in B&W or Sepia). Took all
afternoon, couldn't figure out the old man's kindness until I was somewhat
older.

Well, my favorite of that genre was Lash Larue. I remember when some of his
Saturday serials were in sepia!
