RE: Are you ready for the big day?

Tree's decorated! Got it yesterday.
Very few frills...not inside the house anyway. Too much work, and the cats
just knock things over anyway.
The cookies were baked. However last month husband signed up to bring
homemade goodies into the office. But then he didn't make any (he did have a
good excuse). I volunteered the family party cookies, so now I get to make
those all over again. He owes me.
Shopping done...almost. At least I know what I'm going to get, that's an
improvement over most years.
Wrapped presents...not even started.
Cards? What cards?

All pretty typical last minute for me, except I usually manage to send
cards, it's probably too late now. Fortunately I'm only working through
Wednesday, then I can work on Christmas. You'd think since I don't have kids
I would be more organized, but maybe that's why I always think I have plenty
of time.

No tree.
Frills? I do have a few decorations.
Too early to bake the cookies, I'd eat them.
Shopping is done.
Presents are wrapped.

Mailed packages today; cards last week.
Will pick sister up at airport Thurs night.
Will bake on Fri & Sat.
