Re: Are you ready for the big day?

At least you and Jim have had cats that pee in the holes you dig in the garden. Mine have always had other ideas...

I used to have a cat that wanted to help out in the garden too. Except I
think she figured it was me helping her. Twice she was peering interestedly
into a hole while I dug, and then she squatted to pee in it. I laughed the
first time but after the second I wouldn't let her "help" any more. Cats,
sheesh.

Not sure. Plan to meet Cathy on Thursday. That seems to be the only
definite plan until the 28th when Ms. Fatma returns.

Scaredy still hides out a lot--except Ms. Fatma coaxed her into the
living room for a few minutes today. It's clear that I still spook her,
but she's getting better at getting braver.

Squinty comes and goes--indoor to outdoors and vice versa--pretty much
as she chooses. And today she came and got me twice to join her
outdoors, which I did. Mainly, she wanted to roll around in the
driveway while I watched, or so it seemed. But we've got a few things
to plant, including another Bismarckia palm, and Christmas day might be
a good time to do it, depending on the weather. I'm sure Squinty will
be a big help because she has an uncanny ability to get between me and
whatever I'm doing--and she really seems to enjoy peering into holes
that I dig.

So Jim, sans Fatma, what will you and Squinty and Scaredy be doing on
Christmas?

Shopping done.
Don't wrap.
Put Ms. Fatma on plane for Worcester tomorrow.
