Also had them when I lived up north. Also had a chore coat that was denim with flannel lining. Quite warm.

Amen Lynda. I'm already kicking myself for not breaking down and getting a
pair sooner. What a dunce. I've been living in them since I got them
Friday. (yes they do come off at night and for laundering - LOL)
Wonderful. Was telling Jesse about them and I believe she's eyeballing a
pair for herself. Gets real cold up there. And she doesn't have near the
amount of natural insulation that I do!

Oh, I love those jeans, Pam, - live in them all winter. I think you'll

Poor Andrea. That's a heck of a welcome to the Midwest! Our 30's &
40's
almost seem warm compared to what y'all are getting. Almost. Of course
I finally broke down and got some of those good flannel lined LL Bean
jeans. What a pleasure. Why didn't I do this ten years ago?? Duh.

Been really cold around here for the last couple of weeks, and when it does warm up, it snows. Morning lows of zero seem normal already, worried about that when the Jan-Feb normal cold times arrive. Yesterday it was bitter cold all day here with the winds, but they are calling for a warm up by Xmas of 40 degrees. poor plants, freeze/thaw senerio isn't good. I'm hoping that was the worst for the winter, but our worst weather is usually in January or Feb.
