Cathy & Gary

Had a great time today with Cathy and Gary, wandering around Harry P. Leu Botanical Garden. It was kind of hit and miss with camellia blooms, but there were a lot more roses blooming than I had expected. Even saw a plant I'd never seen before--a tree dahlia [D. imperialis]. Kind of a scruffy looking small tree, but very nice pink dahlia blooms. I've no idea what its USDA zone range is, but will try to find out before I post a picture.
