I've had a miserable cold all week so the final race to get everything done was not fun. Of course everything did get done; I just didn't spend the night with either of my children. Honestly, even without the cold the thought of taking Otis for an overnight was too scary to deal with. At any rate I did get to each house today to see all the grands. The boys got gift certificates; at 15 and 17 they are too old to shop for. My son's daughter is also difficult to shop for since I have no clue what she likes. My granddaughter Brooke is just like her mother (my daughter). I always know exactly what they will love. In fact this year my daughter and I gave one another identical presents. What fun!

Rained all day here, then snow. I'm sure eventually S and S will sort it all out. My boys shared a big can of salmon cat food this morning and then we checked out their stockings. Oh, well... glad I didn't get a sled for xmas this year. Guess it's a good time to squeeze orange juice for next week's breakfasts. It is not she (Scaredy) isn't social, she just doesn't need the crap Squinty is dishing out <lol> It was warm here yesterday, somewhere in the 40's would be my guess. But it rained- ALL DAY - Thankfully it wasn't snow! Well this left for a green Xmas as most of the snow also melted/washed away. Well currently, it is snowing now! Big flakes too.....high is supposed to be 35, so expecting ice and snow and rain... geesh. Glad Xmas is here instead of traveling elsewhere! Merry Christmas.... :) Donna-----Original Message----- From: owner-gardenchat@hort.net [o*@hort.net] On Behalf Of james singer Sent: Sunday, December 25, 2005 6:49 AM To: gardenchat@hort.net Subject: Re: [CHAT] Christmas present She did come out again a few minutes ago, but Squinty bopped her so she went back. Be glad when they work that out! Warm [68 degrees] and breezy here; supposed to rain. On Dec 25, 2005, at 7:26 AM, Donna wrote:Maybe Scaredy Cat should have been named Santa Cat! At 12:01 this morning, Scaredy Cat came out from under the bed, got
up
beside me, and wanted pets for 20 minutes. She woke me twice more to
be
petted, but since I've been up, I haven't seen her. Maybe later
today.
