Re: A card from Pat

Both are in the same Superfamily: Muscicapoidiae, but different  
Families.  Our robins are thrushes, Family: Turdidae, while European  
robins are old world flycatchers, Family: Muscicapidae. Their  
respective scientific names: Turdida migratorious and Erithacus  
rubecula. Probably more than anyone wanted to know!
