I knew drinking lemon juice was good for laryngitis, so I guess it stands to reason it would work for sore throats as well. I've used warm salt water for gargling for as long as I can remember. That is a great remedy.

Anyone ever heard of using lemon juice to combat a sore throat?

A doctor friend of mine suggested used it- swish around mouth and
swallow it. Claims it activates certain glands etc as natural defense to
combat the cause of a sore throat. ( 3 times a day and also suggested
using warm salt gargle too)


I thought he was nuts, but after trying it, my week long issue is gone in a day. Amazing.
