hum.. sounds like just what we had recently. We are now in the cold version, high tomorrow is 22, but climbing back up after that with rain predicted onSunday.Around here they are not salting the roads anymore. Only busy intersectionswhich means not where I am driving. Something about salt prices andavailability... always something. This cold, wet, hot, system we are in makesthe road slippery every morning....I slid thru an intersection again this morning. Even 4wheel drive doesn't help on a sheet of ice.... Over the weekend, Sunday and Monday, the temperatures were in the teens with stiff winds. Then Tuesday it warmed up. The temperature yesterday morning was 56 degrees at 6:00 AM. All day was cloudy and disagreeable, but didn't rain until last night. This morning it was 36 degrees and raining, and that's about what it has been all day. Rain has been heavy at times. It is predicted to rain all night and turn to sleet and snow in time for the morning rush hour. Auralie In a message dated 12/11/2008 5:12:51 PM Eastern Standard Time, dp2413@comcast.net writes: Yep. The weather guy said that it even snowed in San Antonio for the first time in 40+ years. It's headed this way, but our weather guy thinks we'llonly get flurries or at most, enough to coat the grass. After icy cold tempsthe last few weeks, the warm front that caused our recent rain raised the temps to nearly 60. I don't think there will be any problem on the roads. d ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pam Evans" <gardenqueen@gmail.com> To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Thursday, December 11, 2008 5:06 PM Subject: Re: [CHAT] weatherWas there really snow in Houston and New Orleans?
