Now presents like that are the real thing!! The ones given by someone who

Bought myself a present this year, which just arrived. It's Philip Miller's
"The Gardeners Kalendar; Directing what Works are necessary to be done every
month in the Kitchen, Fruit, and Pleasure-Gardens, as also in the
Conservatory and Nursery." 11th edition; 1757. It's a bit worse for wear but
quite legible. Calfskin binding and good rag paper.
Altogether, it's in pretty good shape for being 250 years old.
