Bought myself a present this year, which just arrived. It's Philip Miller's "The Gardeners Kalendar; Directing what Works are necessary to be done every month in the Kitchen, Fruit, and Pleasure-Gardens, as also in the Conservatory and Nursery." 11th edition; 1757. It's a bit worse for wear but quite legible. Calfskin binding and good rag paper. Altogether, it's in pretty good shape for being 250 years old.Inland Jim Willamette Valley 44.99 N 123.04 W Elevation 148' 39.9" Precipitation Hardiness Zone 8/9 Heat Zone 5 Sunset Zone 6 Minimum 0 F [-15 C] Maximum 102 F [39 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT -- No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG.
