Just heard that my grandson, who turned 18 yesterday, has been "early"  
accepted [whatever that means] by Grinell College. He graduates in  
June from Sidwell Friends, that elite [according to Faux News] school  
where Obama's kids go. He had a free ride at Sidwell because his  
grandmother taught there. Don't know if he'll be on scholarship at  
Grinell or not.


We should all remember the commercial significance that this season  
has to the US economy and keep the X in Xmas.
